Sky Garden is fired with compounds found in nature— copper, iron, and titanium. The resulting colors are a wild swirl of lavender, pink, and jade, evoking the colored sandstone valleys of Utah and the Painted Hills of Oregon. The work is multi-fired and made with in-house proprietary glazes.
Inspired by celestial landscapes, moon craters, and ocean waves, Moon Landing works are wild and never turn out the same way twice. Volcanic glazes are made in-house. All works are water-tight.
Horsehair raku works are pulled from the kiln at 1300 degrees and applied with horsehair, feathers, and sugar. The material then bursts into flames— the carbon and smoke leave imprints onto the ceramic surface. All works are fired in the artist’s backyard in Mount Washington, Los Angeles. Glazed items are food-safe. Hand wash only.
Geometry, color, and texture. The Sunset collection uses an in-house beaded glaze that is both sculptural and deeply tactile. These playful works bring a painter’s palette to the tabletop, kitchen, and living spaces.
